Shire Lexington Campus
Shire moved from its original location and established a QC lab with supporting office space as well as a Roller Bottle manufacturing plant over a 12-month period. We added new boilers for process steam and hot water generation for both facilities as well as a new chiller plant for the Roller Bottle facility. New air handlers, exhaust systems were furnished for both facilities. A new structure was added to the campus with our role being the coordination and installation of the piping requirements for the 2,600-ton chiller plant, including the installation of chillers, cooling towers, condenser water and primary and secondary chilled water pumps. We also coordinated and installed all steam and hot water piping for the future phase air handlers in the penthouse.
