KPMG Technology Center
We provided construction and installation services for a KPMG new 81,000 square foot data center. The work consisted of installing fourteen (14) natural gas Capstone microturbines in an outdoor location adjacent to the main building to produce 70% of the power needed to run the entire technology center. Exhaust heat capture systems were installed for each microturbine. The chiller for the data center’s cooling systems were powered by the exhaust heat. The data center is also connected to the electric grid and a back-up generator was also installed to provide additional reliability.
