Fresh Direct
We served as the design-build contractor responsible for all design and implementation of mechanical, HVAC, power distribution, and controls work for a 1MW Cogen plant. This project is part of the $100 million construction of Fresh Direct’s new 500,000 SF facility on a 16-acre parcel.
We were responsible for the design and construction of the cogen plant, which included C100S microturbine with integrated heat recovery modules, power distribution integration with the plant’s 480V substation system, fuel gas distribution, hot water distribution and integration with the facility’s boiler plant, and all related microturbine power and hydronic system controls. In addition, we designed and installed the infrastructure required when the cogen plant is expanded to 2MW using a second C100S microturbine.
