200 Park Avenue – MetLife Building
This project included the relocation of mechanical rooms to the abandoned Heliport in the 59-story landmark MetLife Building above Grand Central Terminal in in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. Built in the 1960s, it remains one of the hundred tallest buildings in the United States.
We were responsible for the installation of AHUs, VRF Split System, and Steam PRV Station in addition to firestopping systems, sealants, access doors, roof curbs, and equipment supports.
Working in a very high-profile and high-traffic urban environment without impacting the tenants in active building posed major challenges. All were handled smoothly.
